Exhaust Manifold Flange for Toyota 1MZ Headers
Derby Wiring SolutionsBelow are the available bulk discount rates for each individual item when you purchase a certain amount
- Buy 2 or above and pay only $20.00 each
This computer is physically modified (not tuned) for demo derby use to help keep your engine running as long as possible. Transmission wires are all removed which puts the transmission in a limp mode. You'll want to shift the shifter all the way back to 1st gear to get 1st gear. Adjusting the kick down cable on the throttle body tighter can prevent it from shifting out of 1st.
Features
- 1/4 in thick
- 1 5/8 holes for exhaust pipe
- Front and Rear is the same (order 2 if you're building headers for both heads)
Fitment
- 1994-2001 Lexus ES300
- 1999-2003 Lexus RX300
- 1995-2004 Toyota Avalon
- 1994-2004 Toyota Camry (v6)
- 2001-2003 Toyota Highlander (v6)
- 1998-2003 Toyota Sienna
- 1999-2003 Toyota Solara (v6)
Build Steps
- Bolt flange to head
- Insert bent exhaust pipe into exhahust hole and tack weld
- Repeat for all cylinders
- Weld best you can with header installed (be mindful of how hot you get the metal for warping issues).
- Remove and finish welding.
- Finish as desired (coatings, header wrap, etc)
For bent pipe, I'd suggest getting pre-bent exhaust pipe with mandrel bends (2 or 3 inch radius) unless you have the tool already. If you're building on a budget, a standard pipe bender would work but it crushes the pipe some and restricts the exhaust path some.
