This harness is effectively a power adapter to convert your stock engine harness into a stand alone harness. All other stock wiring gets disconnected from the engine harness including the fuse boxes. The harness provides a lead wire to the accelerator pedal for the drive by wire (DBW) system.

I was told about these harnesses from a friend was Leary at first cause of price but when I got it in I loved fact was only one wire to the battery and the wire used was top quality.
